FlexiTree may be used for a number of family trees simultaneously. Most settings apply for all trees. These settings are called global. There are also some settings which are applicable per tree.

  1. Create database (once). If you use FlexiTree on a webserver you have to do this via your service provider.

  2. Create global tables (once). In this step you create tables for settings, styles and location coordinates which are applicable to all trees.

  3. Global settings (optional). Here you may change the global settings.

  4. Styles (optional). Here you may change the page styles.

  5. Locations (optional). Here you may read the table with location coordinates.

  6. Fill tree (for every family tree and after the data have been changed). Here you may fill the database with the data from a gedcom file.

  7. Tree settings (optional). Here you may change the settings per tree.

  8. Delete tree (optional). Here you may delete a tree form the database.
